We ponder whether day labor sites keep our community safe or contribute to the influx of illegal immigration? What is the political atmosphere for political opponents of open borders on college campuses? Is the Southwest on the verge of being annexed by South American immigrants, who have a poor record of assimilation? Never a dull moment when discussing immigration, especially with a pioneer like Mr. Gilchrist!
