Shaking up ‘08
Newsweek is obsessed with current NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg making an independent run for President. See their current issue. But honestly, 3 lead candidates from NYC (Hillary, Rudy, Bloomy) might cause a 2nd Civil War - not to mention his various liberal & conservative political stances. The only thing that’ll shake up this 2008 field is if Reagan rises from the dead - not that we’re a fan of “The Gipper” - but cause the GOP field is the one floundering. Gore running would help batter Hillary, which wouldn’t be a bad thing either. Who knows, maybe Edwards, Romney, Obama or McCain can make some noise and turn the tables come primary time.

Speaking of '08 and Bloomberg, check out: http://www.dailymotion.com/bloombergwhitehouse/vi...
Bloomberg is a side switching turd. As far as the GOP floundering, I just don't get it. What floundering, multiple viable candidates?
I'm quickly becoming depressed about the overall field and Gore entering the race will not be much of a help. Who has the Prozac?
I envision a Gore-Obama ticket. Then it's all over but the crying.
Ron Paul is the best candidate with the GOP. I think there's a serious possibility of a major "sleeper" event at the primaries, with him winning or placing well in the primaries of various states. The reason why this would be a "sleeper" is because I believe polling organizations have mis-pegged the 'likely Republican primary voter' crowd. Their polls are accordingly excluding the most relevant data.
With the field of candidates being so weak, I think Cheney is left with no choice but to run in 08
