Political Grind + Intense Debate

debate.jpgWe have just completed another update to the Intense Debate comment system. This includes more bug fixes by the ID team, as well as an import/export feature.

In the past we have disabled all comments after 14 days. Now, ID comments is on every post on PoliticalGrind.com. Feel free to browse around and read an article from the past… Now everything is debatable on Political Grind!

Thanks to the IntenseDebate team: Josh, Jon, and Isaac.

Note: There may be some HTML links from the old/imported comments which should be fixed in the near future.

Stats: 557 Comments Imported Successfully; 1 Comment Failed (99.82% Success rate);Time to Import: 15min; Total Comments: 983… [ First one to the 1000th comment wins a prize ;-) ]

No cheating the system Roger :-)

Well, it was worth a try… (this is 985) heheheh

this is 1000!! What do I win? :)

Does it mean, all old comments on the blog can be imported to ID?

Sunil, That is correct. All comments on politicalgrind.com are now using the ID system. (Original Wordpress Comments –> ID Comments) (They can also be converted back if needed)

This is good news, however I hope that near future news includes trackback ability. A TALL order I realize, but a real wishlist goodie.

I hope so as well Blandly. ;-)

Ignore this, I am just trying to see if it works properly.
