Intense Debate, Lijit, and more updates
I would like to go over a few quick updates and changes to the site so everyone is aware and so all of you can make the most of politicalgrind.com.
- We are currently using the Intense Debate comment system. If you would like to comment, you are advised to register with a user account with Intense Debate here (Directly within the comment system) or you can post comments anonymously. If you have any problems please address them here: ID Feedback
- Lijit is now the default search for PoliticalGrind.com. Use the search to the top right –> or check out our Lijit profile page in which you can also search there. You can use the search tabs to filter between ‘My Blog’, ‘My Content’, ‘My Network’, and ‘Web’. If you want to search PoliticalGrind.com use the ‘My Blog’ tab. If you want to search the Political Grind Network, use the ‘My Content’ tab.
- The homepage will now display the 15 most recent articles.
- The Intense Debate recent comments widgit has been updated and displays user, comment excerpt, and reputation rating. It also contains a link to jump right to the comment as well as RSS feeds. The Top 10 ID commenters widget has also been added… Looks like Blandly is #1 right now.
- For those of you that are interested; Political Grind Network Member, Political Vindication runs a weekly blog talk radio show. The guys over at Political Vindication would love if some of the PGN members or any reader would call up or join the chat and ask some questions. The show is every Tuesday @ 6pm PST / 9pm EST.
Hope everyone is enjoying the site and we will continue to improve the site and make it one of the best political blogs out there.

Thx to all the Political Grinder's. If any of you have any problems with Intense Debate or run into a bug feel free to contact me directly (josh at intensedebate dot com). It is the quickest way for us to get better. We hope you are enjoying our service. thx.
Thanks for the plug PG. Our chat room opens about 5 minutes before show time and we take questions from our listeners. Phone calls, of course, are the best. This week is going to be a fairly open forum as we will be discussing the top political stories sweeping the blogosphere.Very excited about the Political Vindication/Political Grind alliance. There are some great writers on this site and we at PV believe that PG could become a very special blog. Lets keep the debates going, its how we grow as a society.
test, test….
Looks like it is working Amy!
Thanks again for installing and using the Lijit wijit. If you (or your readers) have any questions, please feel free to contact me….tara at lijit dot com. Also, be sure to check out your stats page! There is a lot of information about where your readers are coming from and what they are searching for while on PG.
Thanks Tara, I got the email… I also removed the duplicate comments and informed IntenseDebate. I like the stats that were just emailed to me (weekly lijit stats).
Hi guys, we are currently investigating that glitch. It should be fixed asap.
