Primary Ridiculousness

The other day Michigan moved up it’s primary. This move, on the heels of Wyoming and South Carolina moving their dates to early January. At this rate the campaign will be decided next month.

Primarily yes…I agree. I don't like this entire new "schedule" that we have ourselves wrapped up in these days. I still think of last November and without all the numbers in they were all going on about 2008???? Asinine? Yep, but I'm thinking it's not quite close enough…move it over a bit : )

I think the primaries are stupid. It is nice to have people vote, but I think we should go back to have the parties pick the candidate, not the all out ob rules that the primaries have become. It is asinine to have debates and have decalred candidates in the early summer and a year before the elections. It is just one big campaign from the time the last vote is cast.

I still don't understand why we just can't have them on the same day in every state. By that I mean one day for Democratic primary, one for Republican. This way it is like a Presidential election, each candidate must decide where to place themselves and their resources.

Agreed Stix….very, very interesting Chris C. especially in these days of such ludicrous image making..
