Michael Vick and Al Sharpton
So, it’s been a little while since Michael Vick was indicted on federal charges for dogfighting. Americas best friend Al Sharpton was in on this press release from PETA a few days ago. So where is he now? It seems to me he had a lot more energy going against the Duke players and Imus.
Seems like Sharpton has more energy on other issues, that invlove other races. I am glad he at least said something and didn’t hide.
Nike, Upper Deck, Reebok, and Rawlings don’t like Michael Vick and his dogfighting escapades.
Lets hear your thoughts on this issue….

Sharpton was on the O\'Reilly Factor tonight. He has changed his tune. He now claims that Vick is not getting a fair shake, the NAACP was right in condemning the NFL and marketers that dropped Vick\'s products, and all the demonstrations against him will prevent Vick from getting a fair trial.

Roberta,
If Al Sharpton wants to be in the public, he should treat all equal. He shouldn\'t judge before a person is convicted by law. I don\'t want to make assumptions, but to the general public, it looks as if Sharpton changed his tone due to the NAACP and the fact Michael Vick is black. If Vick was white, would we see Sharpton acting differently? I personally think so.

Sharton sure as hell ain\'t my moral guidepost. Anyone who is interested should just do a quick Wikipedia check.
A hope PETA kicks his fat ass to curb. That is one group of people you don\'t mess with!
Al Sharpton Vs. PETA? Talk about a battle royal of lunatics! PETA is perhaps the most insane, dangerous lobbying group there is and Sharpton is perhaps the most dangerous race-baiter. This should be a slobber-knocker.
Sadly Al Sharpton is the “moral” guidepost in this country these days, anytime he is involved (whether right or wrong) makes taking it seriously difficult.
The media and what not will always eat this stuff up; I don’t think anyone gets a very fair shake once it has been pounced on and rammed down everyones throats.

Nathan,
PETA is crazy.
PETA means well though.
I absolutely detest anyone who hurts animals and Michael Vick is the lowest form of human life. I hope he rots in jail and burns in hell, I really do. And I am a gentle person with a kind heart. I love animals and I teach young children. Cruelty is UNACCEPTABLE and people who do it are sick and they are the worst mankind offers up.
Al is missing in action and not being vocal cause he’s only good on offense, not defense. And this case is all defense at the moment.
Just you wait and see, If Vick wins this case against him. Al Sharpton will be there right next to him, saying it was because he was black. If Vick looses this cases then Al Sharpton will STILL be there saying it was because he was Black…He doesn’t care if it right or wrong, he only cares if its Black or White….
@Bandwagon
I agree, either way Sharpton will be there to market himself as the hero. Sharpton is a catch 22.
I give it to Al. I also saw his KFC video. Wow! I will never even by a diet coke from KFC again. Impressive. Screw Vick!
