Cheney on the DC Madam List

Found this while browsing around some political blogs…

Just came in from Coffee at the Caribou Coffee at 16th and L in DC.

Ran into one of my old cronies.

DC Madam talk is all the conversation in DC.

Brace Yourself.

I was just told Dick Cheney, while CEO of Halliburton, used her services regularly, they are trying to spin up a message to explain that members of his staff, in his offices, used this service to entertain foreign clients.

Apparently several of his ex-staff at Halliburton are already being besieged by calls.

Make of it what you will. I think I would be happier knowing the Dick can dance like a John.

I would also like to make this note, as an Executive who has been trained in how to stay within the law of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

I was specifically instructed by our corporate lawyers never to pay for such services of clients, it is always found to be a violation of the FCPA.

Does this mean, the WH spin, which we will see coming out in the Next 24 hours will be:

Dick Cheney did not use an Escort Service…instead he committed violations of the FCPA and ordered others to do so?
Interesting Times.

Can we Impeach yet?

This would be another example of the incompetence/illegality/etc. of the Bush Administration, if you believe the writer. Maybe it\'s true, maybe it\'s not, but why should we believe them?

I don\'t know Dick Cheney, is he like all the others? I don\'t know, but true or not when it gets out it will be true. Make sense?

I\'m no Cheney fan, but if this has any real truth, why is not being covered by the msm? This story would be huge. And with all the people looking through the phone logs, it\'d be more widespread by now.

Yes, I guess that\'s what I was trying to say.
