It was an amusing interview. However, I don\'t believe Clinton has an anger management problem. More or less, he showed a fiery passion rebutting the right-wing hit job Chris Wallace was conducting when the interview was really supposed to be aimed at the Clinton Global Initiative. Also, Clinton held himself accountable for past mistakes unlike our current President who seems to think he does no wrong.

Was the interview format supposed to contain 5 questions relating to security/terrorism and 10 relating to the Clinton Global Initiative?

He did have a nice rebuttal.

Right wing hit job? It seems like its the same old Bill Clinton! Chris Wallace is one of the most (if not the most) un-biased, fair, and intelligent people in the news media. I have no doubt that the intent was to have nothing other than a fair interview. If Der Slickmeister can\'t handle the heat, he shouldn\'t have gone into the kitchen to start with.

Nathan I do miss the days of the Presidency class with our fruitful discussion and often contrasting viewpoints. While I do believe that Wallace is a respectable member of the media, I believe that the topic he was trying to discuss is a moot point. Clinton could have done more to get Bin Laden, but it is is amusing that the Republicans feel that winning this arguement is relevent to anything.

The fact is that Clinton had been criticized by a very different right-wing leadership at the time, for focusing too much effort on the al Quada leader. Therefore how can today\'s leadership criticize the same man of \"not doing enough\". If the Republicans want to take a hard-line on the former President, they should at least check their facts first.

In reality, this whole situation can be easily analyzed. The Republicans lack support nationwide and are the captains of a sinking ship. Their President isn\'t competent and has failed miserably at capturing Bin Laden or giving the U.S an observable lead in the war on terror. Instead of telling it like it is, and admitting mistakes have been made since 9/11, the Republican spin team has instead decided that discrediting the past administration is a better idea. This is ironic since the Clinton team experienced economic successes and overall support that far excede anything the Bush henchman ever will.

Plain and simple, history will put each of these leaders in their correct place. It will not be the work of staff spin-doctors or less than objective media. To offer up one simple piece of advice…..it is at times more admirable for a captain to yield power to a sturdier hand, than it is to allow pride to sink the entire fleet.

Jon\'s above quote: \" ………the Republican spin team has instead decided that discrediting the past administration is a better idea\" is an extremely important point thst sums up the entire GOP world. Whether it be Clinton, Kerry, or any other Democrat the GOP is excellent at firing nasty shots of fiction at them at a relentless rate. Thus, the GOP knows how to win elections. However, when it comes to fighting a real war on terror or creating a sustainable economy or caring for our natural resources or adhering to the 1000 year old law of habeas-corpus or any other basic act of governing, the GOP\'s got nothing. So, to again to assert Jon\'s point; when it comes to actually governing the country or fighting a real war on terror, Bush and his GOP accomodaters have a better idea: attack the people out of power who haven\'t greatly weakend our nation. When these fraudulent rich boys attack Bill Clinton for calling a spade a spade, it sounds like an inferiority complex to me.

I would agree with Ree. Bush and the GOP are framing the current debate where if Dems are elected, then the nation\'s security will get weaker and we will not be safe because you cannot trust Democrats with our nation\'s security. Phooey!!!

NEWSFLASH: The National Intelligence Estimate released this week states that the war in Iraq has made our nation a lot LESS safer than before we invaded Iraq.

Bush and the GOP have emboldened the terrorists, not Democrats. Bush and the GOP have weakened the nation, not Democrats. Bush and the GOP not only attack people out of power, yet falsely label those in the minority as those who will make American less safe when the reality is that our country is less safe and more apt to experience another terror attack because of failed GOP policy. It\'s time for Bush and the GOP to be held accountable, instead of blaming others for their failure to lead responsibly.

The Clinton/Wallace interview was amusing. Although Clinton does have a bit of a anger management problem, Wallace seemed to mock Clinton on purpose to get him worked up.
